Fair Taxi – operator registration
Register your taxi company with Fair Taxi.
The complete process, step by step. First you join Taxiunionen. Then you prepare the documents. Finally you register the company with Fair Taxi and send in your criminal record extract. No physical visit is required.
Membership in Taxiunionen
Membership of the association, handled in the member system (MemberSpace). This is step 01 and is required in order to drive via Fair.

Your company's registration with Fair Taxi, through Fair's operator form. This page describes that process.
Fair Taxi driver registration
Every driver completes their own driver registration with Fair — after the operator is registered.
No visit in person
The whole operator registration is digital. You do not need to book a time or come to Taxiunionen's office. The criminal record extract is sent to support@fairtaxi.se.

Join Taxiunionen
Membership in Taxiunionen is the first step and is separate from registration with Fair Taxi. Membership is handled in the association's member system — not in Fair's form.
- 1.Choose a membership in the member system. Both free and paid membership exist.
- 2.Already a member? Log in instead.
Membership fees and the service fee for each membership level are stated in the member system. Check the current levels there.

Certificate of registration from the Tax Agency
Download your company's certificate of registration as a PDF. It is uploaded in the operator registration.
- 1.Log in to the Tax Agency's e-service.
- 2.Select the person (sole trader) or company (limited/trading company) you represent.
- 3.Click Företagsinformation (company information) at the bottom of the page.
- 4.Click Visa registerutdrag (show certificate) — a PDF is downloaded.
- 5.Save the PDF. You upload it in the operator registration in step 06.

Traffic permit from the Transport Agency
Download your company's taxi traffic permit as a PDF, including vehicle details.
- 1.Log in to the Transport Agency's e-service for commercial traffic details.
- 2.Select the person (sole trader) or company (limited/trading company) you represent.
- 3.Click Skapa PDF (create PDF) at the bottom of the page.
- 4.Tick both Taxi and Ta med fordonsuppgifter (include vehicle details).
- 5.Click Skapa PDF — a PDF is downloaded. Save it for step 06.

Insurance certificates for every vehicle
Download insurance certificates for all cars that will be in service. One certificate per vehicle.
- 1.Log in with your insurance company.
- 2.Download the insurance certificate for each car that will be in service.
- 3.Save the files for upload in step 06.

Collect company and vehicle details
The operator registration asks for details about the company and the vehicles that will be in service.
- 1.Company details: name, organisation number, email and phone number.
- 2.Vehicle details: registration numbers for all cars. Enter all of them — otherwise drivers cannot select the right car when they register themselves.

Register the company with Fair Taxi
With the documents downloaded, register the company in Fair Taxi's operator form and upload the certificate of registration, the traffic permit and the insurance certificates.
By applying you also accept Reko Rides AB's transport agreement. Read it before you submit.

Order the criminal record extract from the police
Order the criminal record extract “Arbete med barn i annan verksamhet än skola och barnomsorg” (work with children outside school and childcare) from the Swedish Police. The extract is delivered digitally to Kivra.

- 3.Download the document from Kivra.

Send the extract to support@fairtaxi.se
Download the document from Kivra and send it to support@fairtaxi.se from the same email address you used when registering with Fair Taxi.
Send it from the same email address as in your Fair registration — otherwise Fair cannot match the extract to your registration. The extract is not submitted in the form.

Fair Taxi reviews and replies by email
Fair reviews your details and documents, checks the operator and vehicles against Fair/Taxiunionen's requirements and contacts you if anything needs completing. You then receive further instructions about onboarding and start-up by email.

Drivers register themselves
Drivers register themselves with Fair Taxi. Before a driver can register and be linked to your operator/company, the operator must already be registered with Fair Taxi. You do not submit the driver's registration.
- 1.Make sure the operator's registration with Fair Taxi has been submitted.
- 2.Make sure every car's registration number is entered, otherwise drivers cannot select the right car.
- 3.Send the driver instructions to your drivers — they complete the registration themselves.

Certificate of registration

Taxi traffic permit
- What it is
- The company's permit to operate taxi traffic.
- Where to get it
- Transportstyrelsen's e-service for commercial traffic details — create PDF.
- When it is needed
- Before the operator registration (step 03).
- How it is submitted
- Uploaded as a PDF in Fair Taxi's operator form.
- Special requirement
- Tick both Taxi and include vehicle details before creating the PDF.
Insurance certificates
- What it is
- Proof of valid insurance for each vehicle in service.
- Where to get it
- Your insurance company.
- When it is needed
- Before the operator registration (step 04).
- How it is submitted
- Uploaded in Fair Taxi's operator form.
- Special requirement
- One certificate per car — all vehicles must be covered.
Vehicle details
- What it is
- Registration numbers for all cars in the company.

- Ordered alongside the registration (step 07).
- How it is submitted
- Downloaded from Kivra and emailed to support@fairtaxi.se — not in the form.

- Send it from the same email address you used when registering with Fair Taxi.
Reko Rides AB transport agreement
- What it is
- The agreement between the operator and Reko Rides AB (Fair Taxi).

- Accepted automatically when you submit the operator registration.
Common questions
Why do I need to be a member of Taxiunionen?
Fair Taxi was started together with the association Taxiunionen, which works for better conditions for operators and drivers. As a member you benefit from the association's agreements and offers, and you have a vote in the association.
Do I need to visit Taxiunionen?
No. The operator registration is digital. The criminal record extract is downloaded from Kivra and emailed to support@fairtaxi.se.
Do I register my drivers with Fair Taxi?
No. Drivers register themselves with Fair Taxi. Before a driver can register and be linked to your operator/company, the operator must already be registered with Fair Taxi.
Will you also drive yourself?
If you own the company and drive yourself, you also need to complete Fair Taxi's driver registration — after the company is registered.
