Fair Taxi
When the door closed, the members built their own alternative.
Fair Taxi is the result of member organising — a member-owned alternative run together with Reko Rides AB, where drivers and operators know where they stand.
The background
Taxiunionen sought dialogue with the large app companies about the conditions of drivers and operators. During 2023 that dialogue was effectively shut down — by several companies at almost the same time.
Members then decided on the way forward. Rather than waiting, they voted to create their own member-owned alternative. That became Fair Taxi.
Fair Taxi is therefore not Taxiunionen's main activity, but a concrete result of drivers and operators organising. The association's work on organising, authority dialogue and advocacy continues alongside it.

Two ways into Fair Taxi
Registering with Fair Taxi is not the same as becoming a member of Taxiunionen. Membership is handled separately in the association’s member system.
Register as an operator with Fair Taxi
Do you run an operator business with a taxi traffic permit? Follow the instructions step by step: join, download your certificate of registration, traffic permit and insurance certificates, and register the company with Fair Taxi. Everything is digital.
Register as a driver with Fair Taxi
Do you drive for an operator? Join, check that the operator is registered with Fair Taxi, prepare your documents and register as a driver.
